Most "how to start a business" guides begin with forming an LLC. That is backwards.

A business begins when somebody has a problem, you can solve it in a way they value, and they will pay you enough to make the operation viable. The LLC matters. Taxes matter. Zoning matters. Insurance matters. But those are infrastructure around the business. They are not the business.

This guide is for someone in Lake Wales who has an idea and wants to turn it into something real. That could be a restaurant, an AI company, a lawn service, an app, a manufacturing business, a consulting practice, a store, a media company, a contractor, a consumer product, or something that does not have a category yet.

Lake Wales does not need to become Tampa, Orlando or Miami. A more interesting model is closer to Gainesville or early Austin: smaller, accessible, slightly weird, entrepreneurial, creative, technical, founder-led, and connected to much larger ecosystems whenever necessary.

Build here. Use the internet. Use AI. Meet people. Sell something. Then find out how big it can become.
