Founder's Guide

Part 15 of 27

14. Build an AI-Native Company

A company started now should not be designed like one started in 2015. That does not mean adding "AI" to the name. It means designing the work around what machines can now do: market research, customer interview analysis, competitor monitoring, proposals, sales preparation, software development, prototyping, financial analysis, documentation, customer support, workflow automation, content production and knowledge retrieval.

The wrong model is asking AI everything and trusting it. The better model is giving AI controlled information, defined tasks and verification requirements. Build workflows, not tool stacks.

Start with one canonical knowledge base: company name, legal entity, founders, products, services, prices, customer types, locations, contact details, policies, approved claims, FAQs, terminology and evidence. That one source can power your website, your sales material, your employees and your AI agents. If it is not written down, AI may invent it. If it is written in six places, AI may pick the wrong one.
